Essentia, CRMC lead the way
Essentia Health, the major healthcare employer in Central Minnesota, continues to expand its services. It currently operates the St. Joseph's Medical Center, the Brainerd Medical Center and will soon open a
new clinic in Baxter. It's also home to the Brainerd Lakes Heart and Vascular Center, which employs three cardiologists.
Cuyuna Regional, which includes a hospital, clinic, the Minnesota Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery, and the Minneapolis Heart Institute-Crosby, also continues to expand and is the major employer in the Crosby-Ironton-Deerwood area.
