The Brainerd Center of Minnesota Teen challenge opened in June 2008.Approximately 50 students (men – 18 and older) are in the 13 to 15 month program at any given time. About 20 employees care for, teach and mentor the students on a 24/7 basis. A licensed outpatient treatment program recently opened to serve women and men who struggle with addiction but may not need or be ready for a year-long program.
