Overview

A growing technology company located in the Brainerd Lakes Area is seeking a full-time Operations and Accounting Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity to perform daily accounting processes as well as assist with day-to-day office management and sales and operations tasks in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment. Candidates for this position must be highly organized, adept at problem-solving, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

· Perform month-end closing procedures

· Assist with the production of monthly financial statements

· Perform semi-monthly project billing and revenue recognition procedures

· Produce client invoices and enter corresponding payments

· Manage client licensing renewals and processing

· Write and maintain operational rules and regulations for corporate use

· Identify opportunities for improving productivity and efficiency

· Participate in special projects and automation tasks as necessary

· Act as the main point of contact for customer accounting inquiries

· Enter Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

· Perform all banking functions and reconciliations

· Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and placing orders for supplies

· Provide overall general administrative, sales, and operational support

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or higher

· 2-4 years of accounting experience

· Location in the Brainerd Lakes Area required

· Prior experience with mid-level or enterprise ERP systems and CRM systems

· Microsoft Excel skills at a power user level

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information

· Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with strong attention to detail

· Ability to work collaboratively, strategically, and with good judgment

· Strong problem-solving skills
