A locally owned and operated business located in the Brainerd Lakes Area is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead their retail location. If you are interested in growing a retail location with major brands to sell in the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area, then this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team of retail sales workers.
  • Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Train and evaluate employees.
  • Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting.
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints.

Qualifications:

  • Previous management experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields is REQUIRED.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Detail to bring to weekly meetings with other managers and owners.
  • Strong computer abilities/can learn the software, run reports, work excel etc.
  • Be able to sell themselves as this will be selling/active sales manager.
  • 5-day weeks, some Saturdays as needed.
  • Willing to learn and cross sell with multiple departments and product offerings
  • Detail and task oriented.
  • Willingness to hold the sales staff accountable on numbers, ASP, close rates and more.
  • Hire, Discipline & Terminate as needed.
  • Work with upset customers to resolve the issues as a team across the whole business
  • Watch profitability of all products to make sure we are making the margins needed.
  • Position will be base and large commission.
